Your Start Me Up website includes:
- We’ll walk you through getting your domain and web hosting set up. Don’t go and get it just yet. We’ll help you through it.
Already have hosting in place? We can work with that too. Just make sure you take a look at our fine print. - We’ll install WordPress on your site
- We’ll get everything all set up for you
- We’ll upload the theme of your choice.
- We’ll install and activate 5 must-have plugins to help the search engines find you, users to contact you and comment on your blog posts.
- We’ll create a static home page, a blog page, a contact form and up to three more pages of content.
- We’ll give you a written tutorial about how to do basic blog-like things, like writing and editing posts, inserting pages, and adding other cool stuff.
So, how much does all this cost? A Start Me Up website can be yours for only $150 if you use one of our affiliate web hosts, who help subsidize the cost.
Need more than what’s offered here? Rather than bulk up the price with things you don’t need, we’ve separated them out to keep the price down. But, that’s not to say we don’t offer them. You can add to your package with any of the following:
- Import content from a WordPress.com or Blogger website – $50
- Changing colours and adding your logo – $50
- Already have a domain and hosting in place – $50
- Creating new images to customize your theme – $50/hour
